Cowden Support Program (CSP) - minimizing microbial regrowth

QUESTION:

I am currently taking the Cowden protocol for lyme disease.  Is treatment necessary after the six months or will the lyme disease be cured?

DR COWDEN's ANSWER:

The Cowden Support Program produced by Nutramedix helps the body to eliminate many of the microbes that contribute to symptoms of Lyme disease, and helps to lower toxic load and improve the internal environment of the body, thus making microbial regrowth less likely.  I know of no “CURE” for Lyme disease.  The best goal in treatment of Lyme disease is to detox the body, eliminate a large number of microbes, nutritionally support the body and allow the immune system to get back in control over the remaining microbes.
